About Their Past Your Future Phase Two
What is Their Past Your Future Phase Two? Their Past Your Future Phase Two (TPYF2) is a UK-wide learning programme supported by the Big Lottery Fund. It follows on from the hugely successful Phase 1 Home Front Recall, Veterans Reunited and Heroes Return Programmes. The new phase, which runs until March 2010, is led by a partnership of; The Imperial War Museum; Museums, Libraries and Archives Council England; Northern Ireland Museum Council; National Library of Wales, and; Museums and Galleries Scotland.The programme encourages exploration of the impact and ongoing legacy of 20th century conflict on people in the UK. And draws together projects working with a wide range of topics, from remembrance and commemoration to projects which involve themes of peace keeping, human rights, civic particpation and citizenship. MLA grant programme The Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) ran a three year annual grant programme supported through Big Lottery Fund 2007-2010. The grants programme was open to museums, libraries and archives and supported 120 projects accross England.
