About Their Past Your Future Phase Two

Their Past Your Future Phase Two (TPYF2) is a UK-wide learning programme supported by the Big Lottery Fund. It follows on from the hugely successful Phase 1 Home Front Recall, Veterans Reunited and Heroes Return Programmes. The new phase, which runs until March 2010, is led by a partnership of; The Imperial War Museum; Museums, Libraries and Archives Council England; Northern Ireland Museum Council; National Library of Wales, and; Museums and Galleries Scotland.

The programme encourages exploration of the impact and ongoing legacy of 20th century conflict on people in the UK. And draws together projects working with a wide range of topics, from remembrance and commemoration to projects which involve themes of peace keeping, human rights, civic particpation and citizenship. 

The Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) ran a three year annual grant programme supported through Big Lottery Fund 2007-2010.
